Flower arranging is another form of contemplative prayer. You have your empty vase and a selection of flowers and greenery and as you create your arrangement you have the opportunity to contemplate the wonders of creation.

Our parish flower arrangers are a dedicated group of ladies who work in groups each week on a rotation to ensure that our church looks welcoming with beautiful arrangements.

The groups work on a rotation spending 2 to 3 hours every 5 weeks to decorate the church. The buying of the flowers is done by each group so that they are able to plan colour schemes or themes.

At Christmas and Easter all the groups come together to prepare the church. The arrangements really make a difference at these times after the barrenness of Lent and Advent.

We are always looking for new members of any age, male or female.
