Baptism
Parents should contact the parish office in the first instance to arrange a Baptism date with Fr Tom (the normal time for Baptisms is 12 noon on a Sunday) and also to attend a pre-baptismal preparation evening. These evenings take place each month, except August. At least one of the godparents should be a baptised Catholic, but friends and family from other Christian denominations can also stand
Marriage
Six month’s notice is required before a wedding can take place. This time is required for the couple to have
meetings with Fr Tom, for the necessary paperwork to be organised and for marriage preparation to be attended. Couples should contact the parish office initially to make an appointment to see Fr Tom and a provisional date for the wedding can be made at that time.
Anointing of the Sick
If a relative is ill at home, the family can contact the parish office to request a visit from Fr Tom to administer the Sacrament of the Sick. If the Sacrament is required in an emergency for someone in hospital, one of the hospital staff will contact a priest who is on a hospital emergency rota. Fr Tom is on this rota.
Funerals
In order to arrange a Requiem Mass or a service at a crematorium, families should initially contact an undertaker, who will liaise with the parish office to arrange a date and time agreeable to the family and Fr Tom, who will then see the family to discuss details of the service itself.

Journey in Faith
Journey in Faith provides an opportunity to discover more about the Catholic faith and what we believe and do in the Catholic Church. In our sessions, we reflect on scripture, share our faith, and discuss the relevance of the Church's teaching to our lives.
There is no commitment required whatsoever - you are welcome just to come and see - but there is an opportunity for whoever feels so called to join the Church
NB. Any participants in any activity involving children or vulnerable adults are registered with the CRB
