Mother’s Prayers” was launched in England 1995 and has now spread to over 80 countries. At that time, two grandmothers felt led by the Lord to pray in a special way for their children. Through prayer, they learnt that Jesus wishes all mothers to surrender their children into His care, to take away pain from the mothers and to pour blessings on their children.
Members obey the strict rule of confidentiality and anything said at the meeting must never be repeated. As mothers learn to trust each other through their prayers and sharing together, their burdens become lighter.
We have 4 Mother’s Prayers Groups in the parish, held in different homes, mothers and grandmothers of all ages. Each groups should have between 2 and 8 people in it.
If you are interested in joining a group or starting a new group, contact Mary Lee at the parish office and she will be able to advise you and give you all the literature or Contact the Parish Office here
