Apostolate of Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration
The Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration is an international Apostolate of  lay adorers endorsed and blessed by His Holiness, Pope John Paul II in Rome on May 24th 1986, and established by decree of the Pontifical Council for the laity, Vatican City, on the 2nd June 1991, the feast of Corpus Christ.

On 2nd June 2003 (by coincidence), exactly 12 years later, we at Christ the Prince of Peace joined the Apostolate.  Adoration takes place every Monday and Tuesday from the 10 am Mass until 10 pm.  We are very grateful to all those who have pledged themselves to spending one hour a week before the Blessed Sacrament.

The main purpose of the Apostolate is to pray for an increase in vocations to the Priesthood and Religious life. But this is also a wonderful opportunity to pray for our own families, as well as having many other intentions. Mother Church tells us that enormous graces are to be had from this time spent before the Blessed Sacrament.
We are always looking for more people, so contact the parish office for more information
‘Jesus awaits us in this Sacrament of love.  Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation, full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offences and crimes of the world.  Let our adoration never cease.
(Pope John Paul II)
